Dr. Alimadadian has been practicing cardiology for 24 years and is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He has served as the Director of Cardiology for Western Medical Center and is a founder of Cardiology Specialists of Orange County consisting of ten highly experienced cardiologists. Dr. Alimadadian has published numerous articles in the field of cardiovascular disease and has been extensively involved in preventive medicine. HeartSavers is a state-of-the-art cardiac, lung, and body imaging facility in Irvine that uses an Electron Beam Tomography (EBT) Scanner for the early detection of Heart Disease and Cancer. The EBT Scanner is the only FDA cleared scanner for the Heart Scan, Lung Scan, Virtual Colonoscopy, and Electron Beam Angiography. It is used in the top medical facilities in the world such as the Mayo Clinic, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Cooper Clinic, and Stanford. The presentation will be primarily focused on Electron Beam Tomography (EBT) and it's major role as the best non-invasive method in safely and accurately identifying early atherosclerosis development (Heart Disease). In addition to early detection of Heart Disease with EBT there will be information on other HeartSavers scans, modifying risk factors, some differences within the industry, as well as continuing developments. All subject content will be based on clinical studies and well-documented research from leading medical authorities. |
