support you need. Through a
series of questions and personal dialogue, one of our trained sports
career counselors will provide you with the support, tools and strategies
necessary to reach your sports career goals. Whether in your current
job, in a new job or in a new career our individual consultations and
seminars will help guide you towards your next step.
Seminars
We provide both one-on-one
career consultation and sports career seminars for groups of up
to 100. Among the topics we discuss include, career direction &
career mapping, resume preparation, interviewing skills, salary
negotiating, athlete transitions and networking opportunities in the sports industry.
One-On-One Consultation
 This program is
designed for individuals who are interested in discussing their own
personal career objectives. With a trained counselor, individuals can personally discuss
sports career areas of interest or concern, and receive the support to
design a long-term career path.
The personal career
counseling session can be as comprehensive as you wish or need.
Whether you are entering the sports industry for the first time, or
seeking another sports related position, or starting your own business,
will determine the direction of your consultation.
Among the areas most
popular to discuss include: career
opportunities in sports, making a career transistion in or out of sports, resume review & preparation, networking
skills, interview coaching, evaluation of job offers and salary
negotiation, other job search strategies and industry contacts.
How does a consultation work?
Consultations are conducted on the phone.
It helps if we have your resume on hand 24-48 hours prior to your
consultation. Consultations are 50-minute sessions during which your
counselor will answer your questions, and help you develop a step-by-step
plan to achieve your sports career dream.
How to book a consultation?
Sessions are payable in advanced through our store (check for our sale
prices in our store).
You may book more than one consultation at a time, if you wish.
Upon receipt of your order, one of
our staff members will contact you within 48 hours to schedule your individual consultation.
