1. How many years did you play professional basketball? Who did you play for?
10 years; Played in professional leagues in Italy, Japan, Turkey, ABL, &
WNBA.
2. How did you manage playing professional basketball and your personal life?
Juggling both requires a great deal of patience. I have been blessed. I have a husband, Jerald that supports me. He is my best friend.
3. Did you gain any other work experience during your professional career?
Yes, I gained additional work experience by being Co-Owner of Permian Trading Company. I also owned a sports management company, Quantus Sports International.

5. Why did you retire?
I retired because I felt peace in my heart about leaving the game on my own terms. I left healthy and content with all that I have been able to accomplish in my career.
6. How did you feel about retiring?
I believe that a person goes through seasons in life. It was time for my season (as a player) to change. It was time for a
change and I am happy and blessed to be able to move over to the other side of the basketball business.
7. What advice would you give other athletes who are retiring from their sport and making a career transition?
You must have peace in your heart, experience and skills on your side to move on. Find your peace and cultivate your skills.
8. I understand that you are living back in your hometown of San Antonio hoping to bring a WNBA team to that city.
What is your role in your new job and how do you plan on doing this?
My role with the Spurs is to facilitate, manage and implement day-to-day operations for the Women's Basketball Division. My
role with the Coalition for Women's Basketball is to facilitate, manage, and implement efforts to raise awareness for girl's and women's basketball in the South Texas area.
