the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) 
Girls & Women in Sports Celebration Dinner

In recognition of 25 years of girls high school athletics in the state of California, 
CIF had two (2) dinner celebrations (one in northern California, October 23, 1999 
and a southern California event on November 5, 1999), honoring women trailblazers 
who paved the way for girls high school athletics in California.

California Women’s Physical Education Workshop

An annual two-week summer workshop for middle and high school physical educators and coaches, held on the campus of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.  A professional growth development opportunity for teaches and coaches.  The curriculum offers classes ranging from fitness walking, team handball, coaching certification, cardio-kickboxing, western social dance, archery, group games, board sports, outdoor orienteering and lots more!
