it will commit additional resources to the area of career
development in 2003.
According
to Mary Lou Youngblood, COO, the company’s online career
center has grown at a continuous and healthy pace since its
inaugural launch in September of 2000.
“Based on the interest in our career services and the
growing need to support the retention of women in sports related
careers, we felt the time was right for our company to make this

The company also plans to provide additional services for
female athletes in 2003.
“There
is no reason an employer should not be able to find a qualified
female candidate to fill their sports related positions.
The women are available, interested and qualified,”
says Becky Heidesch, Founder & CEO, Women’Sports Services.
