Women's Sports Services teams up
with African American Women in Technology


HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA. (August 12, 2004). Women's Sports Services, LLC (WSS), a career development and diversity recruitment company that operates the online career center WomenSportJobs.com, has announced a partnership with the African American Women in Technology (AAWIT). The partnership will focus on diversity hiring needs in the sports and entertainment industries. Both organizations will provide additional support to promote women of color interested in sports and technology related careers.

The African-American Women in Technology organization (AAWIT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the education, support and advancement of African-American women in the field of Information Technology. AAWIT encourages, promotes and serves the interest(s) of African-American women in Information Technology, striving to help its members advance their careers and enhance their personal development through special resources and networking opportunities. Through the partnership both groups will work to cross promote services and offerings. In addition, members of the African American Women in Technology (AAWIT) will have access to a comprehensive online career center including job listings, resume support, career development seminars and networking events.
